How much do you charge?
That depends on your vehicle information, your time residing in Nevada, how busy the DMV is and how quickly you want it done, and if you want it home delivered or not. We encourage you to reach out to us at (702) 508-0851 and get a quote for detailed pricing information and to learn about our discounted rates for multiple vehicles or dealership files.
How does it work and how long does it take?
As an authorized service provider for the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, we manage your vehicle licensing, registration, or title transaction. We prepare and arrange the required documents for submission, processing your transaction so you don’t have to visit the DMV. Once your paperwork is ready, it’s placed in a queue for processing. The typical processing time ranges from 1-5 business days depending on what day you choose.
Why should anyone use Smog Plus DMV Services?
Clients appreciate the ease of leaving their ongoing transactions behind, granting them the liberty to attend to other pressing matters. They find comfort in being informed through a text message or a phone call when their transaction is prepared for collection. There is no need to go to any location for anything, 100% home delivery service. We can come by with the paperwork you need and then deliver it to you personally when we leave the DMV.
Can you help me get my driver’s license?
No. This is because the actual issuance of a driver’s license is a function of the government, usually at the state level in the United States. We do not handle driver’s license renewals also. For more information on this, the Driver License & ID Cards (nv.gov) page would be a good resource.
Where do I get a VIN inspection?
For vehicles that have never been registered or titled in Nevada, a VIN inspection is mandatory. This can be done at a “drive-through” DMV Inspection Station, typically situated outside the main building at most DMV locations. Alternatively, a law enforcement officer can also complete the Vehicle Inspection Certificate (VP-015) for you. At Smog Plus DMV Services, we are authorized to do all vehicles except trailers, custom vehicles, and most motorhomes. For accurate fee estimates please visit Vehicle Registration Fees of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
What are the necessary documents to bring to DMV services near me?
You will need to bring an Electronic Dealer Report of Sale (EDRS), evidence of Nevada insurance, proof of ownership such as the vehicle’s title, a VIN inspection if necessary, and a Nevada Emission Vehicle Inspection Report (SMOG).
Do I need to make an appointment?
There’s no need for an appointment. You can simply call us at (702) 508-0851 and let us know how we can assist you.
Where is my title?
The NV DMV mails the title directly to you. Regular service is 10-12 weeks and expedited within 20 days. If you are outside of these timeframes and still do not have your title call the title research department at (702) 486-4368 or we can call them for you. Get a quote now!
